Debunking Stupidity

Sharpton Calls For Feds To Take Over States Rights To Police

In yet another stupid, moronic statement, poverty pimp, and race-baiter Al Sharpton is now calling for the federal government to take over the police in the US. He said that he wants “[the] DOJ to take over the policing in this country.”

Uh huh…Sharpton, did you think this through? Do you realize for what you are asking?

You are calling for a police state, not a free state.  You realize that this has already been done in the 20th century? Have you ever heard of the Gestapo of Hitler? Have you heard of the Iraqi Royal Guard of Hussein? These are the result of a police state.  Freedoms lost. Life trivialized.

But I know you don’t care, as long as you get your fame and fortune. You don’t care who gets hurt or looses their freedoms and/or lives. As long as you get your paycheck.

You are a bigot and a poverty pimp. Get off the news, get off the TV and radio, and out of my country, because you certainly don’t act or talk like an American.

Putin Calls Obama’sBluff, Obama Doesn’t Care

As you may remember, a few days ago, Obama told Russia that there would be consequences if they continued their military invasion of the Ukraine.

Well Putin has called Obama’sBluff bluff.

What was Obama’s Bluff response? Today, his want-to-be highness skipped the security briefing on the Russian-Ukraine conflict.

I wonder what round of golf this was? I mean it has to be important to get him away from his game.

Nothing New in the State of the Union.

Just finished watching the State of the Union address from the President and the Republican response. No surprises from either side.

Here is my summary:

President Obama (Sig Heil!!!!) demanded the Republicans do it his way or he would yet break the law again and use executive orders illegally to do what he wants whether or not Congress agrees.

And the Republicans response was weak. They said most of the same things they did last year: they would do a better job, they would fight for a better life for middle-class Americans, they want to”fix” Obamacare, smaller government, etc.

As you can probably guess, this American is tired of the rhetoric. For now, I will still hold my nose and vote for Republicans, not because I like them, but I trust the Democrats a lot less.

When are we going to see the American people standup and say “Enough!”? Continue reading

What Do You Mean There Is No Media Bias?

So over the past 2 weeks, we have suffered hearing about the so called government shutdown and how it  was supposedly hurting the U.S. Well now there’s some validity to the argument that there is a bias in the media.

In a recent article in The Washington Examiner, Paul Bedard looked at the reporting on the government shutdown of the past 2 Weeks and found some interesting, and disturbing trends.

In the article, Bedard states the big 3 networks, 41 stories were “reported” about the shutdown. Of the 41 “reports”, 41 blamed the Republicans, and 0 blamed the Democraps. [Ed. – That is not a misspelling.]

He also noted in interviews, the interviewees and/or interviewers was blasting the Republican party overwhelmingly 6 to 1.

To me that doesn’t appear to be balanced.

Republicans Give Obama What He Wants…Again

Congressional Republicans “blinked” tonight and gave in to the Democratic B.S., fake polls, and name calling. What a bunch of spineless, wussy, RINOs.

In a bill to put 17% of the government back to work [Ed. Note – 17% is all that was affected, not really a shutdown],Congressional Republicans gave Obamacare funding, raised the debt ceiling and then said they “fought the good fight”? What?!?!

To fight means you don’t give in to a totalitarianistic,self-absorbed dictator like Obama, nor his cronies. To “fight the good fight” means to stand up for what’s right, realize there will be consequences, and understand some might get hurt.

No one lost any services, except the services that were shutdown by the administration to “hurt” American citizens, and those services were primarily focused on veterans, the retired, and middle income families.

And before you get on your soapbox, I personally know 3 people that work for the government that were furlowed. But if you were paying attention the past 2 weeks, they will be getting back pay, effectively an almost 2 week “payed vacation”. While it is irritating for them, they aren’t really hurt.

So we Americans, who finally see a glimmer of hope, and let our representatives know to “keep it up”, “we’re behind them”, were slapped I the face tonight, and told “Thank you for you comments, but we don’t care”.

I say to the American people, it is time to vote them all out. Find a different Republican to run against your current Republican congressman and/or senator in the next election. Let’s effectively remove the established Republicans and their leadership out and send the party a message.

What is the message? Simple: “I won’t vote for a Democrat, nor will I vote for you. I hired you to do a job and you not only failed, you gave up. You Are Fired!!”

I would rather have Donald Trump, Steve Forbes, or any other CEO than ANY Republican, even the 1 or 2 that I still like.

Here is an article summarizing the deal for those that can stomach it.

Is The NFL Going PC?

Some of you know about the so called controversy around the Washington Redskins football team name. There are some out there that are offended by the name”Redskins”.

Now the Redskins have been a team for 50+ years. But Snob Costas, announcer for NBC, came on during halftime of the Redskins-Cowboys game to talk about the controversy. He talked about the Braves, Seminoles, Blackhawks, etc. He spoke about how this controversy was mainly in the college ranks, and how some teams changed their names.

He spoke about how team owners, players, and even professional leagues of different sports have used names like Redskins, Braves, Indians and how they are used to in some way honor those they represent. He was also quick to point out other groups such as Cowboys, and Vikings are used and are not seen as offensive. [Ed.-We noticed these are all “white” people groups and it was inferred it wasn’t offensive to use them as slurs].

He mentioned that different indian tribes weren’t offended at the name and then he pulled out his snobby, little, elite, “but”.

He said even though indian tribes are not bothered by it, and fans aren’t bothered by it, and the league is trying to use it to honors the groups in some way it is still offensive. To whom? Then he tried to compare it to the horrible names that have been used in the torid past against other groups.

Well he is way off. I don’t care about his political beliefs. Him espousing them just shows his arrogance. I don’t have time for him. I used to enjoy him being an announcer because he didn’t, but in today’s stupidity, he is given credibility because of his fame. Just like his opinion, and his employer, NBC, his fame is worthless to me.

If I actually thought the NFL or the Redskins organization was trying to be offensive with this name, I be blasting them, just like any other fan of any team, even the Cowboy fans (Go ‘Skins!) would.

Now I hope someone at the NFL reads this and takes it to heart. You, NFL, are getting to a point where a portion of your fan base is getting tired of your wimping out because someone might be offended. What happened to “We are the NFL, this is who we are.”?

If the Redskins change their name, this is one lifelong Redskins fan who will just this away my NFL stuff, and stop following ANY NFL team. I don’t have time for wimpy sports owners or leagues. I know there will be others that will agree with me and might do something similar. I don’t know if there would be much of a dent in their income, but there will be a loss of fans.
