Wait a minute!! Congress is still in session! This is illegal!

Section 2, Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the United States Constitution states:

“The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen
during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall
expire at the End of their next Session.”

Needless to say, the Republicans in the House and Senate are upset. As they should be. As should the Democrats as well. The President is breaking the law.

In prepared remarks, Obama replies:

“I refuse to take ‘No’ for an answer. I’ve said before that I will continue to look for every opportunity to work with Congress to move this country forward. But when Congress
refuses to act in a way that hurts our economy and puts people at risk,
I have an obligation as president to do what I can without them”

On the surface this sounds ok. But when you really dig into it, he’s stating what he appears to believe, that the President, not Congress, is in charge of the country. He says will “work with Congress” but circumvents congress when they don’t do it his way. He stated he has “an obligation as president to do what I can without them [Congress]” when referring to them not following his desires.

But that’s just the point, he isn’t the king, he’s only the President. He is supposed to uphold the law and be the prime example of America, not break the laws and twist them to his desires.

To put in business terms, President Obama is the Chief Operating Officer,  and *not* the Chief Executive Officer of the country. We the people are the shareholders/owners of this great country. We are the employers.

Mr Obama, you are the civil servant. We are not your citizen servants. We, the American People, are in charge. The Congress is our representative in the board room. They, not you, have final say.

Wake up America! Obama is arrogantly strutting around as if he owns the place, when he is really just a hired hand.

Our President has embolden these people by telling them we’re leaving.

I also noticed that our troops were in support role with NATO, and I noticed they are answering to NATO verus running NATO. I don’t remember a time in my life where our troops have ever been under another country or groups control.

I am expecting in the next few days we will hear that it’s our fault that we were there instead of the truth: they were there under someone else’s not control and the US is not running the operations.

So now what? Should we let Puten run our military?

Really? So the people that are paying 50+% of their income in taxes should pay more? Why would anyone with this kind of money stay on the US? Remember the mass exodus of millionaires from New York state a few years ago when their Legislature increased their tax on millionaires? Hundred left and the tax base went DOWN! I would not be surprised if we see companies leave the country or simply close their doors. If I had this kind of money, I’d leave the country for somewhere friendlier if I could find such a place.

What our Congress did was to increase the amount of debt, not cut any spending but only the amount of over spending and call it savings.

Yet again politicians showing they don’t want to listen to us. Yet again they aren’t looking out for us but themselves.

The financial industry that has so long supported these bozos is now yelling at them and they refuse to listen, and even blame their employers, the American people.

Yet again the Democrats are going to blame the Republicans, the press is going to drool all over the Democrats, the Republicans are going to cry foul and tuck tail and run, and the American people are going to suffer.

Oh my!! You mean the fake debt crisis was averted and they still downgraded us? Say it ain’t so!

As I stated previously, increasing the credit limit isn’t tightening the belt. It is dropping the trousers.

So if you want to take your head out of the sand and see that all politicians in Washington are not watching out for us but for their politicL butts. It’s time to fire them all.

Is this really shocking to anyone? This “‘debt crisis” isn’t over, it’s been used to give congress the ability to spend more BEFORE they have to pay it back. This limit was increased by $2.2 Billion. And this is really a reduction in the spending.

So let’s take a quick peak at how this works. Let’s pretend you make $50,000 dollars a year. But you have budgeted to spend $75,000.
Your wife comes up to you and says “we need to spend less. We are over budget.”
You work, and scratch, and toil, and confer with your work colleagues over what to do. You decide to cut $13,000 from you budget.
You go to your wife and say “Honey I just saved us $13,000!”.

You did cut your budget, you reduced the amount you are planning on going over budget. You are now not planning on spending $25,000 over budget, you are only planning on spending $12,000 over budget. No one in there right mind would do this, and anyone trying this would not be able to get away with this.

The real “‘debt crisis” was that Congress and the President would have to live within their means so to speak.

Think about it. If this deal is full of budget cuts as the Congress, the President, and the media claim it is, why does it raise the debt ceiling and not lower it?

Why won’t the Republicans just stand their ground? The bullies have run the playground long enough.

Here are my suggestions:

First, stop being wimps. Stand up and do what you said you were going to do. Ignore the Democrats. Do what is right.

Don’t listen to RINOs. Yes they have lots of money, but true conservatives can take the party back over just as they took back some seats this previous election cycle.

Stop shooting your wounded. When someone in the party makes a mistake, admit it and try and HELP the fallen. The Democrats rally around their fallen like a group of protective female elephants, while the Republicans look like a pack of jackasses.

Contrary to political beliefs, you do not need to create legislation because you are in office. How about looking a one or two pieces of legislation and see if it is really good for the country? Check yourselves and verify you, as a collective, are following the rules.

Represent your constituents, not yourself. The is a servants role you have VOLUNTEERED for, not a career.

I believe that most true conservatives believe these simple things and expect them from our representatives.

I’m not a pundant, just a concerned citizen.

Really? When did the President become the king or owner of the country? That’s not in the Constitution I read in school. Then again, he doesn’t appear to care about the Constitution, just himself.

One thing Mr.President, you do not have ANY control of the budget, you only get to make suggestions. This is not your kingdom. This country is of the people, by the people, for the
people. You are our employee.
