Wow! Has It Been THAT Long???

28 01 2009

Howdy all! Don’t know if you’re wondering what happened to me or not. It’s been a while since before the “divine” election of “His Supreme Magesty”, Barak Hussein Obama since I wrote anything.

So have you guys felt it? The change in the air? The love flowing from your elected paupers?

Ahh…A stimulus package that doesn’t stimulate, but causes over 57% of Americans to depend on the government. Meanwhile causing “the rich” (rich defined as anyone making $66,000 or more) bearing the burden of the new taxes proposed.

And don’t forget, in his Supreme knowledge and understanding of how evil the Empire has become, he has by the stroke of his mighty pen, closed the Hell-Hole, aka prison at Quantanimo, Cuba. You know, the place where we mistreated those that chose to destroy us? I mean come on, giving them 3 meals a day, allowing them to pray to the god they say told them to destroy our civilization, giving them a place to run and play (sorry no war toys allowed on the playground), and other benefits they wouldn’t get in their own native land. Surely *this* is a costly mistake of the Empire to allow such a place to exist.

Did you notice that he called the peaceful nations of the Middle East on his first day as King before he called that Evil Ally that has stood beside us through thick and then, Israel. I mean, he has surely shown me the light. I should have known that a simple phone call to the nations that sponsor the terror against us and our European allies, the nations that have publicly denounced our way of life, and some that have vowed to “wipe us from the map”, would make all things right with the world.

And don’t forget he is showing us how to lead. No tantrums about toys we refuse to give up, like our cell phones, Blackberry’s, etc. Surely his leadership with the minions in the Legislative Branch has shown us how a “real” leader runs the country. His example of just walking in and demanding what you want despite the consequences to those beneath you, well that’s real leadership!

So let us all sing our praises to our New King, His Royal Highness, Barak Hussein Obama.

Sieg Heil!

The Wachovia Deal Fixed Itself WITHOUT Government Intervention

3 10 2008

As you have probably read/heard/seen by now, Wells Fargo is buying Wachovia for $15 Billion instead of going with the Fed backed buyout by CitiGroup.

Under the Wells Fargo deal, shareholders would get $7 per share, a 65% increase over the CitiGroup bid. Now, that’s a loss, but concidering that $7 per share is better than $1 per share, I say that proves the market can fix itself.

Now there are stories today stating that CitiGroup plans to fight the buyout from Wells Fargo. We’ll see how that goes.

If I were a betting man, I’d bet the Fed is going to interfere again with the market and FORCE Wachovia to take the deal from CitiGroup.

Change what Barak?

12 03 2008

So many people are for Barak Hussein Obama because he’s for “change”. What change? What’s he going to change?

He wants to change the administration. Ok. Well what will that do for us? Will he bring *less* government control to our lives? No. He’s touting that his government controlled health care is better than Hillary’s. He wants “BIG businesses” to pay more taxes. Well, businesses don’t pay taxes. They simply increase their price of goods and services to offset the cost. In other words, they charge more to you and me so WE pay the businesses taxes.

So what change are we going to see? The government is already screwing us in a way that we must like, because we haven’t ejected them all from office.

Oh My! It’s 2008! I Need A Resolution!

11 01 2008

Wow! Has it been that long? It’s almost a month, and it’s a new year since I’ve last posted. Well, I guess that tells you I had a lot going on the past month.

Since it’s a new year, it’s time for a New Years Resolution, right? Well since most of us don’t keep them long enough to remember them in the spring, I figure I’ll try this one simple resolution and start slow.

My new years resolution: Simply, to post something, hopefully enjoyable, at least once a week. I know, I know, I have some doubters out there, but hey, how can you get your blog rolling if you don’t blog.

I ask you to come along on this journey with me. You know where I stand, right? I’m a conservative, that has no political party affiliation. Why? because I don’t need a party to tell me what to think.

So I’m asking you, what do you think? Send me a note or a question on a political topic you are interested in and we’ll see if we can get these conversations going. Sound like a deal?
