Everyday I hear people complain about our politicians doing this and that, or someone will complain because “their rights have been violated”, or someone said something “offensive” and therefore they have been inconvenienced or offended.
But these same people blow past me on the road. They have expensive radar detectors. They push and cut in line at the store. Then they look at you like you a jerk for say “Excuse me, I was here first.”
Well, I have news for you, our country built on individual freedom’s granted by our creator not our government. However, we are a society governed by the “Rule of Law”. This means that we, as citizens, are supposed to follow these laws.
So the next time you get behind me and start to blow your horn because I’m going the speed limit, or you see blue lights in the rear view mirror because you are speeding, do not forget these words:
You chose to break the law. Don’t complain.
